Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email. Orders already placed cannot be cancelled.
Payment will be taken at the time of ordering.
All orders are dispatched within 2 working days of your order being placed. Orders received after 2pm on Thursday will be shipped on the following Monday.
There are several delivery methods available to be selected at the checkout and are listed below:
Hermes Courier - £3.49 - delivery within 3-5 working days from shipping date
Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For - £4.55 - delivery within 1-2 working days from shipping date
Royal Mail Special Delivery - £10.30 - delivery within 1 working day from shipping date
International Shipping Europe - £15.50 - delivery within 10-15 days from shipping date
International Shipping USA - £22.50 - delivery within 8-14 working days from shipping date
All customs and import taxes for shipments to Europe and USA are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please check your local laws and customs before placing your order.
If you need your new frame urgently, please call us on 01582 766668 before placing your order and we will endeavour to ship your order to meet your timeline where possible.
All frame only orders can be returned within 14 days under the statutory 14 day cooling-off period which applies to online ordering. In this instance, the products must be unused and undamaged. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure the products arrive back to us within 14 days of being received. The buyer is responsible for return postage. We recommend using a trackable postage method and keeping your tracking number and proof of purchase until we confirm receipt of the returned products. A small restocking fee of £3.50 will be deducted from your refund.
Harpenden Eye Centre will also issue a full refund in instances where:
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned products.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used to place the order.
All our frames come with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty, providing damage does not occur due to misuse, accident or fair wear and tear. In order for the product to be considered for repair or replacement, the product must be sent back to us for consideration.
Should your frame require repair outside of the warranty period, please email us a photo of the frame to be repaired to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will advise whether a repair can be carried out and provide you with a quote.
If your new frames need adjusting and you are local to us, please feel free to pop in and see us without an appointment and we will make any necessary adjustments. If you are not in the area, an opticians near you will usually be more than happy to carry out any adjustments for a small fee.
All frames purchased on our website will include a case and cleaning cloth as standard. Some manufacturers provide us with a branded case and cleaning cloth for some of our ranges and we will supply you with these branded items if available.
